On the pier lies Árdna, our massive common room of a Sauna, w/ a bar in the immediate vicinity of our unique path of cold plunge barrels. In the weekends we host DJ sessions where you can freely move between all our open saunas. That’s THE brand new way to socialize!

What’s a cold plunge?
We’ve got gorgeous, vintage, classic wood barrels that make for the perfect Social media post, filled with cold freshwater, so you can cool down or challenge a friend!
What’s a DJ session?
We invite a DJ in our biggest sauna, Árdna every Friday and Saturday (except during summer). Let yourself be transported to warmer places in the middle of Nyhavna, through the warm rhythms of the DJ’s beats.
Rituals
We offer unique sauna rituals, where warmth, scent and sound melt together into a full sensory experience. Our Sauna masters will guide you through the ritual by using essential oils, vapor, and a towel fanning technique that disperses heat evenly through the room. Every ritual has its own theme, from calming and immersive to energetic and recharging, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and being in the moment. It’s a journey for body and soul, surrounded by the water and natural elements at Havet Arena

PEDRO

Pedro’s focus as a sauna master is calculated warmth, but in a down to earth way. His sessions combine atmospheric melodies, sensory awareness and emotional depth. Every ritual balances intensity and quietness, inviting you to get in touch with yourself anew.
CAITLIN

A saunamaster with rituals that span from calm foresty landscapes and meditative breathing exercises to frenetic rave.
Cait is an honest and informal sauna master who invites all to be part of a unique experience in the heat, where relaxation, meditation and sensory awareness are the focus.
NICO
Nationality: US
Age: 36
Nico is one of Havet’s very first sauna master, and has shared his passion and skills to develop our team. During one of his sessions, he raises the steam in perfect harmony with carefully picked essential oils to create a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. He enjoys taking inspiration from different sauna cultures from around the world and invites all to a sensory experience that is sure to leave you with newly acquired knowledge and an incredible sauna experience.

As a member at Havet you’ll get discounted tickets for both shared sauna sessions and private saunas.
A membership costs 800 NOK a year.

Eventes
In collaboration with the climate and environmental unit, water quality is monitored. Water samples are taken twice a week.
During periods of heavy rainfall, the sewer system may overflow. This applies not only to Nyhavna but to all swimming areas in Trondheim. If the water quality does not meet the standard for good water quality, a notice will be posted at the gangway down to ARK (the sauna raft) and at the gangway down to the public bathing pier with the diving tower.

A ticket for a sauna session includes access to:

Rituals
We offer sauna rituals in Drivhuset on Fridays and Saturdays. Other days (and always included in private saunas) there will be crushed ice with essential oils & Aufguss offered hourly in Drivhuset by one of our sauna masters.
Duration
You can choose to arrive later than your booked start time, but the session will still only last for 2,5 hours from the start time.
Note: Our last sauna session at 8:00 PM (and at 6:00 PM on Sundays) lasts for 2 hours!

As a member of HAVET's sauna club, you only pay 150 NOK for all regular sauna sessions!
A membership costs 800 NOK and lasts for 12 months. This membership will also be valid at the saunas at SALT.

You can also rent a towel at HAVET (50 NOK each).

We do not refund tickets. If you notify us at least two days before your session that you cannot use your tickets, we can reschedule your booking or send you a voucher that you can use at a later date.
RULES: We reserve the right to ask guests who do not comply with the guidelines to leave. Clearly intoxicated guests will be denied entry to saunas, and tickets will not be refunded in such cases.

TERMS OF PURCHASE: By purchasing a ticket to the sauna at HAVET, you agree that you are responsible for your own health and safety when using the sauna and bathing facilities.
SITTING TOGETHER? We cannot guarantee that big groups are able to sit together in the saunas. If you want to be guaranteed to sit together, you can book a private sauna HERE.
AGE LIMIT:
18 years after 18.00 on Fridays and Saturdays in ARK.
18 years after 16.00 on Fridays and Saturdays in ARDNA.
PARKING: Unfortunately, we do not have parking spaces at HAVET. The nearest parking is at Solsiden. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Solsiden to HAVET via Svartlamon.
